To What Is Your Faith Anchored?

 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God . . . And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:1, 2, 14 ESV). The Son of God came to earth and dwelt in human flesh as Jesus Christ and stated that:  “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6 ESV). It is this Jesus that is to be “the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2 ESV). 

I chose the name “Anchor My Faith” as a domain name because it is a constant reminder that in Jesus and his word my faith is anchored. Who or what is your faith anchored? It is my prayer and purpose of this blog that you will grow as one of the disciples of Jesus Christ. 

Jesus said:  “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:18-19 ESV). The picture shows me at the Great Wall of China, but now I need to stay near home and so through this blog it is my goal to continue to reach out with the Word of God to continue to make disciples of those who will read and study with me.
