The desire of my life is: “I long to live in such a way that my life quietly but unmistakably reflects the character of Christ. On one of my trips to China, I had the opportunity to visiting the Great Wall in China (2004)

At the beginning or 2004, I was invited to take the first of five a short-term mission trip to Chengdu, China. Then beginning in the Spring of 2006 I was invited to come and teach in Wuhan, China. That Bible teaching ministry involved two months in the Spring and four months in the Fall each year for six years.

The Importance of Faith

Faith is an important part of understanding the Bible and walking with God. Consider the following four links:

Previous to February of 2026, all Bible lessons were written and located at AnchorMyFaith.com. Then in February AnchorMyFaith.com was absorbed by another organization. It was quickly realized that the new organization was not a good location for us. A search for a better solution for us was to add “.blog” to AnchorMyFaith and use WordPress as our editor. In the process of migrating from .com to .blog it was decided to keep .com as an archive of original lesson source. The texts of these lessons are being copied and bound into Bible series at .blog. This work is ongoing.

Currently, Bible lessons are written and shared on AnchorMyFaith.blog as well as across several social media platforms and Christian groups. As each lesson is posted, it is added to an index page for easy future reference. A complete verse‑by‑verse study of the New Testament has been completed, with every lesson posted as it was written. Each book of the New Testament has its own index page, and the individual lessons for that book have been gathered and bound into a corresponding commentary. Unfortunately, this process became difficult when I was forced to migrate to a new web domain and editor. The complete set of NT lessons were stored in indexes on AnchorMyFaith.com. These original lessons will remain there, but their indexes have been migrated to AnchorMyFaith.blog. To clarify this, consider the book of Romans.

Notice the 115 lessons and a link to the original lessons. These lessons were reformatted to form a single Book Page.

To access Romans or other Books, follow the steps below:

1. Select this link
2. From the display presented, select New Testament Books
3. From the display presented, look down the list and select Romans
4. From the display presented, select Introduction or go directly to the chapter that contains your verse or verses

Unfortunately, migration to AnchorMyFaith.blog is going slow for the Old Testament. Consider two examples that are either complete or nearly complete; OT Book Chapter summaries, and OT Bible events.

• OT Book Chapter Summaries (We will look at Joshua)

  3. Look at the Overview, Major Themes, and Key Verses
  4. Review the people God used in Joshua
  5. Look next section next at the Chapter Overviews Section and notice a paragraph overview for each chapter
  6. Following each chapter overview is a Joshua link that now points to a page not found. Plans are to do a verse-by-verse study of Joshua next year. At that time the links will become active.
  7. All books in the Old Testament are set up in this way except Ruth, which has a verse-by-verse recorded.
