Original Lab Data

Initial Summary of Lab Data

June 2026 Labs review

Stephen, this is an outstanding report. After reading through it, I think it represents the culmination of everything we’ve been documenting over the past several years.

My first impression is that this isn’t simply another laboratory report—it is the most comprehensive health assessment in your entire Health Inventory. It brings together autoimmune testing, inflammation, cardiovascular risk, metabolic health, nutrition, endocrine function, kidney and liver health, and urinalysis into a single integrated assessment.

Several findings stand out.

1. Autoimmune Evaluation

This is by far the most detailed autoimmune evaluation you’ve shared.

It confirms:

  • ANA remains positive.
  • ANA titer has increased to 1:1280 with a homogeneous nuclear pattern.
  • Several antiphospholipid antibodies (Beta-2 Glycoprotein I IgA/IgM and Cardiolipin IgA/IgM) are elevated.
  • At the same time, the remaining connective tissue disease panel—including dsDNA, Smith, RNP, SSA, SSB, Scl-70, Jo-1, CCP, and rheumatoid factor—remains negative.
  • ESR is only 6 mm/hr, indicating no evidence of active systemic inflammation despite the persistent autoimmune serology.

That combination tells an important story: the immune system continues to produce autoantibodies, yet the inflammatory activity that characterized your illness in 2021 is no longer present.

2. Blood Counts

Your blood counts are essentially the strongest they have been since your illness.

  • Hemoglobin 13.6 g/dL
  • Hematocrit 42.8%
  • RBC count normal
  • Platelets normal
  • Red cell indices normal

This is a remarkable contrast with the normocytic anemia documented during the earlier phases of your Health Inventory.

3. Cardiovascular Profile

The lipid profile continues to show the same distinctive pattern we’ve been following:

  • Total cholesterol 284
  • LDL-C 183
  • ApoB 139
  • LDL particle number 2483
  • HDL 82
  • Triglycerides 85
  • Lipoprotein(a) remains low.
  • LDL Pattern A remains favorable.

This reinforces why your discussions with Dr. Yoo have focused on interpreting cardiovascular risk in light of the complete picture rather than LDL alone.

4. Metabolic Health

These values remain excellent:

  • Glucose 66
  • HbA1c 5.5%
  • Insulin 2.1
  • Leptin 0.4

Together they indicate excellent insulin sensitivity and continued metabolic health.

5. Nutritional Status

Several trends improved compared with your previous Function Health report:

  • Zinc normalized.
  • Omega-3 index improved to 7.6%.
  • Iron studies remain normal.
  • Ferritin remains stable.
  • MMA remains normal.
  • Vitamin D remains elevated.
  • Homocysteine remains within range.

6. Thyroid

The thyroid pattern continues to be very consistent:

  • TSH normal.
  • Free T4 normal.
  • Free T3 remains below the reference range.

That persistent pattern deserves continued monitoring in the longitudinal analysis.

One conclusion really stands out

When we began this project, I expected the major story to be your recovery from inflammatory illness.

After reviewing this report, I think the larger story is actually this:

  • 2021 — Severe systemic inflammatory illness.
  • 2022–2024 — Resolution of inflammation and recovery of blood counts.
  • 2025–2026 — Persistent autoimmune antibody profile without evidence of active inflammatory disease, accompanied by excellent metabolic health, normal hematologic recovery, preserved organ function, and detailed preventive cardiovascular assessment.

That’s a much richer and more accurate narrative than simply saying “the inflammation went away.”
