Inflammation Trend Tables

Purpose

The purpose of this section is to document the changes in inflammatory markers over time and provide a clear visual representation of the transition from severe systemic inflammation in 2021 to the current state of inflammatory control.

The primary inflammatory markers reviewed are:

  • C-Reactive Protein (CRP)
  • Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR)

These markers are especially important because inflammation was the defining health challenge during the 2021 period of severe illness.

CRP Trend Summary

The CRP trend demonstrates one of the clearest improvements documented in the Health Inventory.

2021

CRP of 32 mg/L indicated a significant inflammatory response.

This occurred with:

  • Severe decline in health.
  • Elevated ESR.
  • Normocytic anemia.
  • Significant systemic symptoms.

2024–2026

CRP decreased to very low levels.

Current interpretation:

✓ Inflammatory activity greatly improved.
✓ No laboratory evidence of ongoing systemic inflammation.
✓ Continued monitoring appropriate because of autoimmune history.

ESR Trend Summary

The ESR trend mirrors the CRP improvement.

The reduction from:

71 mm/hr → 6 mm/hr

represents a significant objective measure of recovery.

Current interpretation:

✓ No evidence of active systemic inflammation.
✓ Previous inflammatory illness appears resolved.
✓ Continued observation appropriate because autoimmune markers remain present.

The severe systemic inflammatory state documented in 2021 has resolved, with current laboratory evidence demonstrating excellent inflammatory control. Persistent autoimmune markers remain an area for monitoring but are not accompanied by current evidence of active inflammation.
